After about an hour, you can work on the covered area with a toothbrush. Baking soda should be rubbed over the entire area of the stain. As a result, small round plastic formations (lumps) will appear, which can be easily removed from the surface.
We repeat the procedure, using a new portion of soda for each cycle, until we get a satisfactory result (no more than three times).
Cover the stain with clean soda so that an even layer is formed and cover everything with gel dishwashing detergent.
Directly on the contaminated area we make a homogeneous mass, which we then rub into the fabric.

The detergent can be slightly strengthened by adding half a glass of washing powder or 1 glass of colorless vinegar.

Only powdered mustard should be used. Since the paste contains some substances that contribute to contamination. To remove a greasy stain using this affordable and inexpensive product, you need to do what is described below:

Soak the powder with warm water, bringing it to a paste.
Apply the resulting mixture generously to the oil stain; you can even rub it in with your fingers or a toothbrush.
We go about our business until the paste is completely dry.
We remove dried mustard residues using any dry method, then wash according to the instructions on the clothing tag.

Household chemicals

Traditional methods will help you get rid of stubborn greasy stains. chemicals, a wide range of which is available at the relevant sales points, and some of them can be purchased at the pharmacy.

Dish detergent. These substances were originally developed to break down fat and can do this even in cold water (according to the advertising). Many of them are really capable of this when it comes to fresh contamination. All you need to do is wash the problem area, first covering it generously with detergent.
Pipe cleaner. Apply the powder to the stain, moisten it a little and rub it in by hand or with a brush, after which you need to wash everything in the usual way for fabric. This is a rather radical method that should be used with caution - not every material can survive it without consequences, so it is better to first try it on an inconspicuous area.
Ammonia, turpentine and laundry soap. Grate or finely chop plain soap, about a quarter of a bar. Make a paste by mixing soap with turpentine. Add 5 drops of ammonia to the mixture. Rub the resulting mixture onto the dampened stain, wait 15–20 minutes, rinse, and then wash as usual.

The methods described above work well for relatively fresh stains. If the grease stain is old, more aggressive means will be required to combat it.

Acetone. This drug will eat away any greasy stain, even if no one knows the moment of its appearance. It is enough to wipe the contaminated area with a cloth or cotton swab, generously moistened with acetone, then wash. However, it has a significant drawback. Acetone dissolves not only fat, but also many dyes, as well as some synthetic materials.
Ethanol. You can use some other types of alcohol, but this one is the most accessible - sold in any pharmacy. Alcohol also dissolves fats well, but unlike acetone, it does not spoil the material or remove dye from clothes. Stains are removed with a cloth or cotton wool soaked in alcohol. The process will take some time, but do not overdo it. Rubbing the fabric for too long does not make it any better.
Petrol. This is a fairly aggressive product and before starting to use it, it is better to conduct a preliminary test on an inconspicuous area of the material being cleaned. Contaminants are removed in the same way as with alcohol or acetone. That is, soak a cloth or cotton swab in clean, high-quality gasoline and wipe the vegetable oil stain.

1. Laundry soap. The most gentle thing. Just rub the dirty area with laundry soap and leave for 3-4 hours. Then scrub the stain vigorously with a stiff-bristled brush under hot running water until completely removed. It may take 10-15 minutes. Then wash your clothes as usual.

2. Dishwashing liquid. Helps in removing new machine oil stains as it is designed to wash away grease. Treat the stained area with dishwashing detergent (the fabric should be thoroughly soaked) and leave for several hours, then rinse with warm water and wash.

3. Toothpaste. Absorbs fresh machine oil well. Apply white toothpaste to the stain and leave until completely dry, then wet, scrub with a toothbrush and rinse in warm water.

4. Washing powder. Its thick consistency successfully removes oily marks. Dilute the powder with water to a homogeneous thick mass, apply the mixture to the stain, rub well, remove the contaminated powder, apply a new portion and remove again. Repeat the procedure until the trace of machine oil is removed. To increase the effectiveness of the technique, add a little dishwashing detergent to the powder.

5. Ammonia. Works only on fresh machine oil stains. Dilute the ammonia halfway with hot water, soak the stained fabric in the solution for 15 minutes and put it in the wash.

6. Iron (heat treatment). Apply a thick layer of napkins to the outside and back of the contaminated fabric, heat the iron and iron the napkins. Heat will melt the machine oil, which will be absorbed into the napkins. In this case, an unpleasant odor may appear in the room.

7. Stain remover. Use a stain remover suitable for the item (for white or colored clothes), the main thing is not to damage the fabric. Apply the product in a thick layer to the contaminated area, leave for 30 minutes, then rinse with water. When streaking, mix the powder and stain remover in equal parts.

8. Gasoline. Like motor oil, it is made from petroleum, so both substances dissolve each other. Technology: mix gasoline with liquid soap in a 1:1 ratio, apply the solution to the stain and leave for 60-80 minutes. Rinse with warm water and cover the contaminated area with baking soda, which will remove dark stains from the stain. After 10 minutes, rinse off the soda and wash as usual. Gasoline can be replaced with kerosene or acetone-based solvent.

9. Special spray. Thanks to a special chemical formula, it is designed to remove stains from engine oil in a car, but also works well on clothing. You can buy the product (there are several brands) at an auto store. Proceed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
