Roundabout traffic rules. Circular motion in a new way

Attention! The material is NOT relevant!!! .

Good afternoon, dear car enthusiasts!

Despite the fact that roundabouts are designed to facilitate traffic at road intersections, drivers still have a lot of questions about driving through such intersections. When driving through roundabouts, very little attention is paid, which is why some difficulties arise.

First mention in maneuvering rules:

8.5. Before turning right, left or making a U-turn, the driver is obliged to take in advance the appropriate extreme position on the roadway intended for traffic in this direction, except in cases where a turn is made when entering an intersection where a roundabout is organized.

Second in the rules for driving through uncontrolled intersections:

13.9. At the intersection of unequal roads, the driver of a vehicle moving on a secondary road must give way to vehicles approaching on the main road, regardless of the direction of their further movement. At such intersections, a tram has an advantage over trackless vehicles moving in the same or opposite direction on an equivalent road, regardless of the direction of its movement.

If sign 4.3 is installed in front of a roundabout in combination with sign 2.4 or 2.5, the driver of a vehicle located at the intersection has priority over vehicles entering such an intersection.

In the first case, the rules for entering the intersection are determined, in the second, priority.

There are no other explanatory rules for driving through a roundabout intersection, and you should follow general rules. What is a roundabout?

The first thing you need to understand is that a roundabout is one intersection with multiple roadways crossing. The roadway on the “ring” is not a separate road, but is intended for exiting from one road to another. (Just like, for example, a section of the roadway at the break in the dividing strip intended for a turn, but not being a road and not forming a separate intersection)

According to clause 8.5 of the rules, if you make a turn when entering an intersection with a roundabout, you do not need to take the extreme position, that is, you can enter the intersection from any lane. Please note, this rule only applies to entering the intersection; when leaving the intersection, you must take the extreme right position on the roadway. Turning from the second lane when leaving an intersection is prohibited.

Now let's look at more difficult option, which is quite common - one of the roads of the roundabout runs along the tangent of the circle

In this situation, the intersection also has a roundabout, let's look at how traffic occurs straight along the second lane on the road.

Despite the fact that the turning maneuver is not carried out, nevertheless, entry into the roundabout occurs and, in the case of straight traffic, exit from it occurs at the same time. It turns out to be a kind of contradiction: on the one hand, we can enter the ring in any lane, but we must exit only from the far right lane. We move straight without making any maneuvers, but when crossing " circular motion At some point we become participants in traffic along this “ring” and occupy the second lane on it. To exit the roundabout we are forced to cross the far right lane of the roundabout.

Thus, formally, three maneuvers are performed simultaneously

  1. Entering a roundabout
  2. Changing lanes to the far right lane
  3. Exiting a roundabout

This formal division of maneuvers is necessary to determine priority between vehicles that are moving in the traffic circle and those that are only “grazing” it.

If priority signs are not installed at the intersection, then at the intersection of trajectories “1” the red car must give way, guided by paragraph (tip:: 13.11. At the intersection of equivalent roads, the driver of a trackless vehicle is obliged to give way to vehicles approaching from the right. The same rule must tram drivers should be guided by each other.) 11/13(/tip) rules. And at the intersection of trajectories “2”, both cars are in a circular motion and the white car must let the red car pass, as it leaves the lane and crosses the lane of the red car.

There are an infinite number of configurations of roundabout intersections and the rules traffic they have undeservedly received too little attention.

To avoid getting into such difficult situations, you need to plan your movement through the intersection in advance, and if you plan to exit the roundabout quickly, it is better to take the far right lane before entering.

Dear you without obstacles!

The vast majority of motorists drive in circles several times every day and, by and large, do not think about whether they are doing it correctly. But more than 90% of drivers move around the ring in violation of traffic rules. And this despite the fact that most drivers have significant driving experience.

Unfortunately, most motorists either simply do not know the rules for driving around roundabouts or simply ignore them. However, this should not be surprising, since the traffic rules still no separate item, which would explain in detail to drivers how to move correctly at such an intersection.

Traffic rules experts will point out rule clause 13.9, but he only talks about entering the ring in only two cases: the circle is the main road and the secondary one. This paragraph does not describe circular motion. The rules for driving around the circle are not described anywhere at all. And paragraph 13.9 teaches drivers to only look at the signs when looking at the roundabout everywhere.

If there are signs 4.3 and 2.4, then the roundabout will be the main one. When there is only sign 4.3, the circle will be secondary, and drivers entering it will have advantages. Drivers driving in circles will have to give way to those entering, since they are interference on the right.

Please note again for the presence of priority signs. If they are not there, then those who enter the ring have an advantage, not those who move out of it.

At one time, amendments to the rules for driving roundabouts created confusion in the heads of drivers. Among car enthusiasts, the opinion has spread that the circle is always the main one. This led to many accidents. Correct circular motion requires taking into account the signs.

Driving through a roundabout intersection begins at the entrance to the roundabout. And this is where novice drivers have the most questions. Why? Because in most driving schools, the teaching staff has driving experience dating back to the times of the USSR.

The old roundabout rules required drivers to stay in the left lane when entering. Accordingly, teachers teach future drivers to do the same. But the rules have changed a long time ago.

In modern traffic rules there is paragraph 8.5, which requires drivers when turning right or left, as well as when making a U-turn, take the extreme position on the road taking into account the direction of rotation. The exception is when driving through a roundabout intersection. That is, today the driver has the right to enter the circle in any lane.

At the same time, the motorist should not forget that if he entered the roundabout from the right lane, then he must take the traffic at the roundabout right lane. Entered from the left lane - take the left inner lane.

It is also useful to remember the exit when choosing an entry lane to the roundabout. As an example, let's take a classic intersection with a three-lane roundabout. When the driver needs to take the first exit, it would be wise to choose the right lane. If you need a second exit, then it is better to choose the middle lane. And in order to take the third exit, choose the left lane on the roundabout.

This choice of entry lanes for the roundabout reduces the number of traffic jams. However, according to traffic rules, nothing prevents the driver from driving on any of the selected lanes.

The bottom line is:

  • movement in a circle can be started from any of the lanes;
  • to start driving around the roundabout you need to stay in the same lane along which you entered the roundabout;
  • the choice should be made taking into account the desired exit.

Turn signal signals when entering and driving around a circle

Very often, when approaching a roundabout intersection, you can see an amazing picture: the vast majority of cars are parked with the right turn signal on, and only a few with the left turn signal on. Which drivers are right and which are wrong?

If you really studied traffic rules, you should know that drivers who turn on the right turn signal when entering the roundabout are right. The fact is that the circle is still the same intersection. Accordingly, all turn signal signals on it should be exactly the same. If the driver turns left, he turns on the left turn signal; when turning right, he turns on the right one.

The same rule applies when changing lanes. When entering the roundabout, the driver always moves to the right. So he must turn on the right turn signal. It's not difficult to remember. Turn on the turn signal towards which you turn the steering wheel.

When driving around the ring, if the driver does not change lanes, it is recommended to turn off the turn signal and turn it on when performing any maneuver.

As we have already found out, you can drive through the ring in any lane. But here it should be remembered that constant use of the right lane without taking into account exits is quite dangerous. The fact is that, due to ignorance or non-compliance with traffic rules, every second motorist tries to jump into the exit he needs from the inside, or even worse, from the left lane.

At the same time, these drivers firmly believe that if another motorist is in the right lane along the ring, then he must move out of the circle. Accidents in such situations happen very often. Therefore, you should not abuse the right lane unless you need to use the nearest exit.

The same paragraph 8.5 of the traffic rules will help us answer this question. Let us remind you that the rules require that the driver, when turning right, left or making a U-turn, take a seat in advance. extreme position on the road, corresponding to the direction of rotation. It turns out that leaving the roundabout is only possible from the right lane.

In this case, exceptions are possible, dictated by markings and signs. That is, on the asphalt before exiting the roundabout we see arrows indicating the possibility of moving to the right from two rows at once, and above the road there are signs indicating movement in lanes. If there are no special signs and markings, then you can only leave the roundabout in the right lane.

Is this rule observed in real life? Of course not. Every second driver ignores these rules. Motorists can exit the circle in any lane and from any lane.

It is very common to see drivers directing their cars to the desired exit from the inner lane of a roundabout. Such violators do not even think about the fact that they are violating traffic rules and in the event of an accident, traffic police officers find them guilty, with all the ensuing consequences.

Let's consider a situation where a driver is moving along the inner lane of a circle and needs to take one of the nearest exits from the circle. How to do this correctly? Taking into account the rules for rebuilding.

When driving along the roundabout, you need to signal with your turn signals in a timely manner and do not forget about the obstacle on the right. That is, the driver must first move into the right lane so that you can then leave the circle without breaking the rules. Of course, with such a lane change, you will need to let everyone moving to the right pass.

Driving straight around the roundabout

Often in large cities you can see a combination of signs 4.3 and 2.1 in front of large roundabouts.

The latter has an explanatory sign indicating the direction. Most often, the main road on such a ring signifies driving straight around the ring.

Features of driving through such an intersection:

  • If a motorist intends to drive straight, he can do so without stopping, using his right of priority. Of course, you need to make sure that other drivers let him pass.
  • If he enters the roundabout along the main road, but in the future intends to use another exit, then the driver, when exiting the main road, will have to give way to cars entering the roundabout from the right.

Since driving through such intersections has always caused difficulties for drivers, today traffic lights are increasingly used instead of signs. This greatly simplifies the travel rules. Unfortunately, so far only new intersections with roundabouts and the main road are equipped with traffic lights.

Responsibility for traffic violations on the roundabout

Drivers who violate the rules on the circle may be fined if the violation is recorded by the traffic police. The amount of the fine depends on the severity of the violation. So, if you enter the roundabout and ignore the prohibiting traffic light signal, the driver will be fined for 1,000 rubles.

In case of repeated violation, the driver will be fined in the amount of 5,000 rubles or may revoke your driver's license for up to six months. The choice of one or another type of punishment is decided by the court.

When driving through a roundabout, the driver may be fined for the following violations:

  1. If he did not provide an advantage when entering the ring.
  2. The driver was moving in the opposite direction to the general flow.
  3. He did not use his turn signals when changing lanes at the roundabout.
  4. The driver left the roundabout in the wrong lane.
  5. Arranged a parking lot at the intersection.

Failure to provide an advantage is punishable by a fine in 1,000 rubles regardless of whether the corresponding road signs.

In our country, roundabout traffic is carried out counterclockwise. You cannot drive around the circle clockwise. Such a violation punishable by deprivation of rights.

The new rules allow parking on the roundabout only if the car is located 5 meters from the intersection of roadways. If this condition is not met, the driver will be fined for 500 rubles.

When entering a roundabout under sign 2.4, you need to give way only to those drivers who are already moving in the right lane of the circle. You don't have to wait at all for the inner stripes of the circle to become free. You can immediately continue driving in the right lane.

In such a situation, you need to be extremely careful, since there is a high probability that other drivers who do not comply with traffic rules will drive across you from the inner circle.

Always try to follow the traffic rules around the ring. But don't blindly follow the letter of the law. When performing any maneuver, objectively assess the situation around you. This will allow you to avoid fines and accidents.

Many readers, who drive around the circle every day, are now thinking, and many, the majority, have already answered incorrectly. And I bet that among this majority there are people with 20 and 30 years of driving experience.

Instructors and teachers of driving schools, traffic police officers and, perhaps, a few other motoring lawyers, as well as rare competent drivers, may not read this article, because, as you already understand, it is not addressed to you, but to the remaining 95% of motorists.

These same 95% either do not know the traffic rules regarding the passage of roundabouts, or interpret them incorrectly. But this is not surprising! There is neither a separate chapter nor a separate paragraph in the traffic rules that explains to drivers the correct movement in a circle. With the exception of paragraph 13.9, but it talks about entering the roundabout when it is the main road and when it is not the main road.

Everything is simple there, you just need to follow the signs. If before entering the circle there is a sign 4.3 "Roundabout" in combination with a sign 2.4 "Give way" or 2.5 "Driving without stopping is prohibited", then for you the circle is the main road. If there is just one “Roundabout” sign, then you have an advantage when entering the circle, because you are an obstacle on the right for those who are already driving in a circle.

Once again. In the absence of priority signs, by default those who ENTER the intersection have priority.

But this is not the only difficulty.

From which lane can you enter the roundabout?

Paragraph 8.5 of the traffic rules states that before turning right, left or making a U-turn, the driver is obliged to take in advance the appropriate extreme position on the roadway intended for traffic in a given direction, except in cases where a turn is made when entering an intersection where there is a roundabout.

This means that we can enter the circle from any lane of the roadway. However, it should be understood that if we enter a roundabout from the right lane, then first of all we must occupy the right lane on the circle, and if from the left lane, then, accordingly, we must occupy the inner left lane. From the middle lane, accordingly, only the middle lane awaits us.

Total:

  • You can enter the circle from any lane.
  • You need to enter the circle in the same lane you were in before. That is, you cannot drive from the left lane of the street into the right lane of the circle.

Let's move on to the next question: which turn signal should you turn on when entering a roundabout?

When I let cars pass on the circle, which is the main one, I feel like a black sheep, because I am the only one with a right turn signal on, while for some reason everyone else is standing with a left turn signal.

Gentlemen! Why left turn signal? A circle is also an intersection, if you want to turn left at an intersection, you turn on the left turn signal, if you want to turn right, then turn on the right one. If you change lanes to the right, you turn on the right turn signal; if you change to the left, then turn on the left one. Right? What's worse than a circle?

When entering a roundabout, you always drive to the right, and therefore the turn signal must be turned on to the right. And to make it easier, you just need to remember where you turn the steering wheel and turn on the turn signal. When entering a circle, you always turn the steering wheel to the right, which means you need a right turn signal, just don’t forget to turn it on in advance. I hope this has been sorted out.

Go ahead. You can move in a circle in absolutely any lane you like, but circling in the right lane will not be safe at all. Because every second person strives to leave the circle from the inner left or middle lane. At the same time, absolutely not paying attention to you, confidently believing that since you are moving in the far right lane, it means that you will now move out of the circle. And if it so happens that you interfered with him and continued to move in a circle, then at best he slams on the brakes and starts honking at you threateningly with a displeased face, shouting something at you like you’re a teapot. And you really disturbed him, but how else? You were on his right, that is, you were an obstacle to his right.

And here we smoothly move on to the last and most important question: from which lane can you leave the circle?

We turn again to paragraph 8.5 of the traffic rules and remember that before turning right, left or making a U-turn, the driver must take the appropriate extreme position on the roadway in advance - this rule also applies to a roundabout intersection. That is, we can only leave the circle from the far right lane! The only exception is if there are markings on the area that dictate different rules. That is, if there are arrows drawn on the asphalt to the right from two rows, and there are also lane traffic signs at the top, then we follow them. If there are no markings or signs, then only from the right lane and nothing else.

What about in life? Every day, when driving in the rightmost lane of the circle, I hit the brakes and signal for a long time to the first person I meet who has expressed a desire to leave the circle from the inner lane. You heard right - to the first person oncoming, because absolutely everyone, without exception, leaves the roundabout from the inner left or middle lane, if, of course, he was moving along the same lane before the exit. People don’t even think that they are wrong, that they violate traffic rules and in the event of an accident they will be found guilty. Not only do they leave the circle in violation of the law, but they also do not allow “interference on the right” to pass, which is also a gross violation of the Rules.

Thus, when driving in a circle in the far left or middle lane, before you leave the circle, you need to change lanes into the far right lane on the circle itself, and only then can you safely leave the roundabout. But with such a lane change, you, of course, must let everyone on the right pass, and this is not so easy to do in conditions of dense traffic. Therefore, I recommend trying to enter a roundabout intersection from the far right lane, and then you won’t have to let anyone pass at the roundabout.

What's the result?

When entering a roundabout from the far right lane and there is a Give Way sign, you are required to give way only to those driving in the far right lane of the circle. Having missed them, you can enter the rightmost lane of the circle and then, without waiting for the free inner left lane of the circle, continue moving in your lane. But be prepared for the fact that those driving in the left lane will probably leave the circle with the conviction that you are obliged to let them through. Not only because you are on the far right lane of the circle, but also for the reason that you allegedly haven’t entered the circle at all.

At the same time, I in no way “bless” you for creating emergency situations. If someone moves into your line and does it with reinforced concrete confidence in their own rightness, there is no need to go for the ram. It won’t make it any easier because the traffic police finds you innocent, but the car will have to be repaired.

But if you yourself stop violating them, and also tell a couple of your friends about how to drive in circles correctly, then it will be much more useful in all respects.

Compliance with the rules of behavior on the road is the key to your own safety: the driver must know the algorithm of his actions in a specific situation. So, when crossing a roundabout intersection, it is important to carefully choose a lane and exit this section of the highway correctly. By following a regulated procedure, you can avoid an accident and not become a nuisance to others.

Definition and pattern of circling movement

Circular traffic at an intersection means the movement of vehicles around the central island counterclockwise (for the principle of traffic organization adopted in Russia - on the right). In states with left lane priority at such an intersection, the flow of cars tends in a different direction - clockwise.

While on the roundabout, the driver obeys the rules for driving around roundabouts. One of their features is the lack of regulation: there are no traffic lights or traffic controllers. Those driving in a circle have priority right of passage; other motorists are required to give way to them. The mandatory use of turn signals is not provided, only for cases of changing lanes from one lane to another.

Advantages and disadvantages

Movement along the ring has a number of advantages:

  • priority movement for those who are already moving in a circle;
  • high throughput;
  • lack of regulation;
  • Overtaking and stopping are permitted.

At the same time, as traffic increases, roundabouts become an obstacle, another source of traffic jams. Since exit is only allowed from the far right lane, additional maneuvers will be required to change lanes from lane to lane, which increases the likelihood of accidents if the driver does not adequately assess the road situation.

Designations

Sign 4.3 allows movement only in the direction shown on the sign, and the first turn must only be to the right, turning around is prohibited

To indicate the beginning of a roundabout, sign 4.3 is used, which schematically displays the upcoming maneuvers of drivers. The outer diameter of the circle is separated from adjacent streets by dash markings with thicker lines than those used to separate the stripes inside the circle.

Traffic rules 2018

Changes made to the Traffic Rules at the end of 2017 continue to apply in 2018: the roundabout is a priority and is equivalent to driving on the main road. Whereas previously they were guided by the “rule right hand", allowing those entering the intersection to pass.

Roundabout traffic does not require additional regulation, but in places of intense traffic flow, a traffic light can be installed at the entrance to such an intersection. In this case, you should be guided by the traffic lights, not paying attention to the signs indicating priority.

Road signs

Since November 2017, sign 4.3 has been supplemented with sign 2.4 “Give way,” once again reminding that the circle is a priority, and everyone entering it from adjacent streets is required to give way to the flow of cars moving around the ring.

The “Give Way” sign is used not only in roundabouts

Entering the roundabout

Traffic rules allow you to enter the circle from any adjacent lane. However, the optimal choice of entry lane (to reduce the number of maneuvers to change lanes) depends on the further movement of the vehicle:

  • exiting to the right involves entering from the right lane;
  • for straight-line traffic, it is wiser to choose the central lane;
  • It is more convenient to make a left exit and a U-turn by entering the ring from the left lane.

Departure

To avoid emergency situations, you must turn on your turn signals so that other road users are aware of your future maneuvers.

Entry is allowed from any lane, while exit is allowed only from the far right position. Therefore, before the exit point, it is necessary to perform a maneuver in advance to change lanes into the desired lane, allowing passing traffic from right side. At roundabouts with heavy exits to the right, special right-turn lanes can be installed, which allow you to maneuver without entering such an intersection.

The departure algorithm includes the following procedure:

  1. Turn on the light indicator on the right.
  2. Let cars pass to the far right lane to change lanes.
  3. Move into the far right lane of the adjacent road.

Turning on the turn signals

You can also get a fine for not turning on your turn signal.

Performing maneuvers requires giving a signal with the appropriate turn signal, and in case of a malfunction - with your hand. When driving on a roundabout, there is no need to turn on the turn signal every time you cross the center line of an adjacent road. The rules oblige the driver to indicate only maneuvers for changing lanes from one lane to another for the convenience of movement and the intended exit on one of the sections of the ring.

So, the turn signals include:

  • entering a roundabout;
  • moving off it;
  • rearranging inside the circle.

Other nuances

In courtyards, to limit traffic intensity, mini-roundabouts with an island diameter of no more than 18 meters can be organized. As a rule, the speed of cars in such areas does not exceed 30 km/h. However, even in this case they must be marked with sign 4.3; if this sign is not there, then the order of movement in such courtyards is regulated by the general instructions of the traffic rules: letting an obstacle pass on the right, driving in the right lane, etc.

To make a U-turn, the driver must enter the roundabout, drive a full circle and exit it, observing all the rules for driving roundabouts. A U-turn in front of the roundabout (without entering) will be interpreted by the traffic police inspector as entering the oncoming lane.

One of the features of a roundabout is that overtaking is allowed if all the conditions for performing this maneuver are met. It is also allowed to stop at a distance of 5 meters from the junction of the ring and the adjacent road.

Penalties for violations of roundabout rules

Depending on the severity of the violation, you may receive a fine or lose your right to drive a vehicle for some time.

Failure to comply with the rules of the roundabout threatens the driver with a fine, and in some cases you can become a pedestrian for a period of six months or more.

Thus, traffic lights may be installed at the entrance to a roundabout. Entering the ring at a red light is fraught with a fine of one thousand rubles, and if the offense is repeated, administrative law provides for either a fivefold increase in the amount of the fine or deprivation of the right to drive for up to six months. What will be imposed on the driver in a particular situation is decided by the court.

If, upon entering an interchange, the driver did not give way to cars already moving along the roundabout, then the traffic police inspector has every right to fine him in the amount of 1,000 rubles. Driving through an intersection not counterclockwise, but in the direction of its movement, or is directly regarded as entering the oncoming lane and threatens to turn the driver into a pedestrian for more than one year.

Stopping closer than 5 meters from the intersection of the axes of such intersections is the reason for collecting a fine of 500 rubles. The same amount threatens a forgetful driver who does not give a turn signal, or who leaves the roundabout from a lane other than the far right.

A roundabout intersection forces the driver to concentrate his attention as much as possible even when approaching such a section of the road. A properly selected entry lane will allow you to reduce maneuvers to change lanes to a minimum, which reduces the likelihood of an emergency situation on the road. An objective assessment of the state of traffic flow and guidance of the rules is the key to prompt and unimpeded passage around the ring.

Sign 4.3 allows movement only in the direction shown on the sign, and the first turn must only be to the right, turning around is prohibited.

Sign 4.3 is not a priority sign, therefore, the intersection of carriageways with a roundabout without a sign 2.1 "Main road" or 2.4 "Give way" is an intersection of equivalent roads where the driver must give way to vehicles approaching from the right. But that's how it was before November 8, 2017. After the amendments to the traffic rules come into force, vehicles moving in a circle have priority over vehicles that are about to enter the circle. Therefore, the right-hand rule no longer applies in this situation.

According to clause 8.5 of the Traffic Regulations, entry into a roundabout with a multi-lane approach can be made from the right and left lanes into any lane of the roundabout, and with a single-lane approach - as close as possible to the right edge of the roadway and only into the rightmost lane of the roundabout; Then you can change to the left lane if there is one (clause 8.6 of the rules). Exiting the roundabout can only be done from the far right lane.

Exam questions for sign 4.3 “Circular traffic” until 2017. (Ticket number and question may not match)

Ticket No. 9 Question No. 3

In which directions are you allowed to continue driving?

2. B or V.

3. Only B.

A comment: Mandatory sign 4.3 “Roundabout” allows you to continue driving only in the direction indicated on it (arrows), therefore movement along the path “B” is prohibited. In addition, sign 3.18.1 “No right turn is prohibited” prohibits turning right into the nearest passage “A”.

Ticket No. 10 Question No. 7

You intend to make a U-turn at an intersection. Which turn signals must be turned on when entering an intersection?

1. There is no need to turn on the direction indicators in this situation.

3. Right.

A comment: The direction indicators must be used well in advance of the maneuver. In this case, the signal should not mislead other road users. At such a roundabout intersection, sign 4.3 “Roundabout”, you must move in the direction indicated on the sign, turning on the right turn indicator before entering.

Ticket No. 12 Question No. 14

You intend to continue driving through a roundabout. Should you give way to a truck?

1. No.

2. Yes.

A comment: Sign 4.3 “Roundabout” allows movement in the direction indicated by the arrows and gives you no advantage. Therefore, you are approaching an unregulated intersection of equal roads and must give way to vehicles that are on your right.

Ticket No. 13 Question No. 8

From which lane can you enter this intersection?

1. Right or left.

2. Only on the right.

A comment: When entering a roundabout intersection marked with sign 4.3 “Roundabout”, according to paragraph 8.5 of the rules, you can turn right not only from the far right lane, but also from the left.

Ticket No. 16 Question No. 14

When entering an intersection you:

1. Must give way only to motorcycles.

2. Must give way to both vehicles.

3. You have the right of way.

A comment: The roundabout is the "Main Road". Therefore, you need to give way to both vehicles.

Ticket No. 23 Question No. 8

What trajectory can you continue moving along?

1. Only according to A.

2. Only by A or B.
