Long-term work plan for familiarization with the native land in the senior preparatory school group

Explanatory note
Love for the Motherland is not an abstract concept,

but real mental strength that requires

organization, development and culture
A.N. Tolstoy

A long-term thematic plan for familiarizing older preschoolers with their hometown of Krasnoyarsk, which is the capital of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, was compiled on the basis of information from the folk encyclopedia “My Krasnoyarsk” (http://region.krasu.ru/culture), E.P. Kostin “My Motherland is Russia”, N.V. Aleshina “Patriotic education of preschool children”, R.S. Bure “Social and moral education of preschool children aged 3-7 years”, N.V. Miklyaev “Social and moral education of preschool children.” Due to the fact that in the above-mentioned literature the material is not systematized, we have developed a long-term plan to familiarize children with their hometown and region. The basis for drawing up a plan is the cognitive and speech direction of children’s development and involves solving the following interrelated tasks:

Educational: expand children’s ideas about their hometown (historical past, attractions, traditions); to form an idea of their native land, their small homeland on the basis of familiarization with their native nature, culture, and traditions.

Developmental : develop children’s coherent speech by composing stories, retelling fairy tales, stories about their hometown; to form in children a cognitive interest in their hometown; develop the need for independent exploration of the surrounding world by studying the history of their city.

Educational: to cultivate love, respect and respect for one’s small homeland through the means of aesthetic education: through music, visual activities, artistic word; contribute to strengthening family ties, developing partnerships between parents and kindergarten; to form the moral qualities of the child’s personality: independence, patriotism, love for his hometown.

The work is carried out frontally, in subgroups and individually in a playful way. Complex, plot-based, thematic and other types of classes are used. The specificity of the work organization is the integration of various educational areas based on a single content field.

Directly - educational activities(subgroup and individual) is carried out once a week, frontal - once a month.
